A model to understand where to start: Clowns, shadows, change and mental-sightedness

In this episode, let’s discuss the issue of simplifying everything. Solutions need to match the context and so the simple solution may be good for some and terrible for others.
Additionally, by identifying our preferences, we can spend time developing our lopsidedness. Do you tend to drill down to the details or do you prefer a bird’s eye view of the situation?

The model I talk about is very simple. Is a person in a place where they need to be resilient? Or they in a calm place and ready to build changes in their behaviour? Or are they skilled/ experienced enough that they are ready to ‘restructure’ their beliefs and transcend the issue. The true essence of thought architecture.

The other model is based on our ability to break something down to its component parts VS building it up and understanding the whole system.

This all helps us to keep a more fluid intelligence.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
